Oh my gorgeous. It is the most wonderful time of the year: knee-warmer weather. Just like that, we seem to be out of the wintry woods. One no longer has to don tights, booties and the other trappings of low-temp riding. The roads have been beat to hell, but the sun and crisp air reveals nature’s promise of great things to come (the spring classics of Durand and Ken Woods, obviously). Time to show a little skin. Time to harden up. Time to start hitting those local climbs.
All that winter work is about to pay off – legs laughing all the way to the lactic acid bank.
